Mallorca is also known as Majorca. It is an island which is situated in the Mediterranean Sea. It is the biggest island amongst the Balearic Islands archipelago in Spain. Palma is the capital of this island which is the capital of the autonomous community of Balearic Islands as well. These islands were an autonomous place of Spain from 1983. The Cabrera Archipelago is merged administratively with Mallorca. The national anthem of the island is La Balanguera.
